Newsec and Nasdaq Partner to Expand Nasdaq’s Vilnius Office Space

Nasdaq in Vilnius has expanded its office space by 32% to 6 thousand square meters to support a growing team that now includes 550 professionals. This expansion, facilitated by Newsec, a leading real estate advisory firm in the region, signals Nasdaq’s long-term investment in Lithuania.

The expanded office at the K29 business center reflects Nasdaq’s commitment to providing an environment that supports both the professional and personal well-being of its employees. Designed with Scandinavian influences, the interiors are a seamless blend of functionality and warmth, creating a workspace that feels as welcoming as it is efficient.

“Nasdaq is committed to its presence in Lithuania, and we are pleased to partner with Newsec to expand our office space. Nasdaq strives to ensure an exceptional experience for our employees, and we plan to utilize the additional office space not only for new workspaces but also for collaboration and leisure areas,” said Arminta Saladžienė, CEO of Nasdaq Vilnius Services.

Martynas Babilas, Head of Corporate Real Estate at Newsec, notes that Nasdaq’s decision to expand its Vilnius office reflects shifts in the office market trends in Lithuania. “Since the pandemic, we have seen many companies grow their teams while maintaining the same amount of office space—or even downsizing it, as hybrid and remote work has become dominant. However, we are now observing that more and more companies are returning to offices because they see value in face-to-face collaboration, team synergy, and company culture. This shift has led to a demand for more flexible spaces that encourage teamwork, and consequently, we predict further office expansions in the coming years.”

Nasdaq’s investment in high-quality materials and ergonomic solutions, custom furniture, carefully curated to align with its global workplace standards, contribute to a sense of individuality and sophistication. Natural light, warm tones, and thoughtfully designed communal areas provide an atmosphere that fosters collaboration and creativity while maintaining comfort.

Communal spaces, such as the large kitchens, serve as more than dining areas, they act as social hubs for team gatherings, informal discussions, and events. Meanwhile, private quiet zones ensure employees have spaces for focused work and confidential conversations. The office’s acoustic solutions, including sound-absorbing materials and high-grade carpeting, further enhance the working environment by minimizing distractions.
