Newsec attracted a new international investor to the Baltic region
The international real estate consulting company Newsec represented the company EfTEN Kinnisvarafond AS during the sale of a hypermarket Prisma in the city of Narva, Estonia. The hypermarket was bought by the French asset management company Corum for EUR 16.7 million.
According to the transaction adviser Newsec, this is the asset management company’s Corum first transaction and investment in the Baltic region. “We are happy that the Baltic region welcomed a new investor having a considerable investment experience throughout Europe. By investing in the Baltic region the new investor demonstrated its confidence in the Baltic market, and, moreover, by investing into a small town – its flexibility. It is no secret that until recently large local funds used to limit their investment capabilities exclusively to large cities, thus, this new investor, by starting its investment journey in the Baltics from a small town, is an exception to the rule,” said Head of Transactions Neringa Rastenyte – Jančiuniene.
