Newsec intensifies focus on digitalisation and sustainability – new venture led by Christoffer Börjesson
Newsec launches a new initiative, Newsec Digital Accelerator, to further enhance the position within digitalisation and sustainability. Christoffer Börjesson is appointed to head up Newsec Digital Accelerator and continue developing Newsec’s long-term work to digitalise the real estate industry.
Christoffer Börjesson has extensive experience in digitalisation, internet of things and IT security in the real estate industry. In 2021, Börjesson joined Newsec’s owner company Stronghold Invest as Senior Business Developer and was previously Digital Officer at Fastighetsägarna, the Swedish Property Federation.
“Being a leader in innovation and new technical solutions has been central to Newsec for a long time, now we are intensifying our focus in order to offer the market’s, by far, most digital property asset management. With Christoffer’s drive and knowledge in the field, we look forward to creating great value for our customers by enabling their digitalisation journeys”, said Patrik Attemark, CEO, Newsec.
The purpose of Newsec Digital Accelerator is to explore new business models and services to drive development of the digital property for both Newsec’s new and existing customers.
“In concrete terms, we want to help our customers become more sustainable, make efficiency gains and increase the value of their portfolios by packaging technology and services as a complete solution. Connected buildings give real estate companies opportunities to create more user-friendly and flexible environments for their tenants and meet the increasing demands from regulations and investors”, said Christoffer Börjesson, Head of Newsec Digital Accelerator, Newsec.
