From the 4th of October, Mr Andrius Švolka has taken the position of Head of Transactions at Newsec in the Baltics, an international real estate (NT) advisory company. Švolka will be responsible for property investment transactions in the Baltic and foreign markets.
Mr A. Švolka started his career in 2007 as an investment advisor at SEB Bank. From 2009, he had worked as an analyst at Northern Horizon Capital group in Copenhagen (former BPT Asset Management). During the last two years, Mr A. Švolka worked as an investment manager at Baltic Horizon Fund.
“It’s a pleasure to join the leading RE advisory company in Lithuania. The shift from the position of a buyer to the position of a seller was driven by a search for dynamics and new challenges. The decision was facilitated by the confidence expressed by Newsec in me as well as the ambitious goals to develop not only the Lithuanian but also the Latvian and Estonian transaction markets,” says Mr A. Švolka.
The specialist in investment projects has graduated from economics studies at Vilnius University. He then continued his studies at the Copenhagen Business School, where he obtained a Master’s degree. He has also finished CFA studies.
