Uniqueness of the object

• The language of postmodernism is most lively revealed on the outside of the building, especially on the main façade from the side of Jogailos st. The stylistic solution here is based on the world-famous means of expression of postmodernism – interpretations of historical elements. Attention is attracted by a transparent, symmetrically incorporated, stylized column
• The façade structure – a dark granite rust plinth, a colonnade-interpreting rhythm of blind bands and dark window niches, stylized cornices and, finally, the fronton crowning the building – is an individual, somewhat ironic, architectural language attributable to postmodernism classics
• Building can be compared with the façade of the Bank of Lithuania's headquarters in Kaunas. The monumental internal stairwell in its forms responds to the modernist balconies of interwar Kaunas. However, in the whole, the interior does not have the same brightly recognizable sign of postmodern stylistics as the main façade. The spaces of Utilitarias offices and corridors are complemented by references to high-tech (e.g. stair railing elements, fire ladders) and the combinations of materials characteristic of that time (e.g. a combination of ceilings and stained glass decorated with mirrored strips) that do not create a stylistically unified postmodern character of the inner space
